Charleston Craft Bee Returns to Mixson for “Spring Cleaning” Event

Mixson, a blossoming new urbanist community in North Charleston’s historic Park Circle neighborhood, will host Charleston Craft Bee on Sunday, April 10, from 3 to 5 p.m., as the event returns to the neighborhood for a “Spring Cleaning”-themed session featuring rotating stations of homemade cleaners.

Charleston Craft Bee offers a unique, hands-on experience inspired by handmade living and homespun goods. The upcoming Craft Bee on Sunday, April 10, will use all-natural ingredients and smart containers, forming environmentally friendly projects that match the encore setting of The Barn at Mixson, an open-air gathering space at the heart of a community founded on sustainable living. Attendees will make five products and take home a set of Charleston Craft Bee recipes, including lemon all-purpose cleaner, lavender hand soap and lemongrass room spray for the home as well as peppermint salt scrub and orange sugar scrub for the skin. 

Tickets for the Charleston Craft Bee’s “Spring Cleaning” event are $15 online at www.charlestoncraftbee.com. The Charleston Craft Bee will provide materials and instruction and Mixson will sponsor a complimentary wine bar while the rest of the event unfolds organically.
